FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH

• Read all instructions carefully before using this product.

• Inspect all parts before use. Do not use if any components are missing or damaged. Contact your authorized Les Mills distributor.

• Ensure all users and staff are informed of the safety warnings and proper usage guidelines.

• The SMARTSTEP has been engineered to support a maximum weight of 140 kg / 308 lbs, accommodating the combined weight of the user and any additional weight plates they may be holding.

• The SMARTSTEP is designed and tested for normal use (including jumps and other propulsive moves) within LES MILLS classes.

• Propulsive exercises (springing off deck) are not recommended when the SMARTSTEP is set on an incline.

• The SMARTSTEP is not designed for plyometric box jumps. These moves should be undertaken with specific plyometric equipment designed for such use.

USE AND CARE GUIDELINES 

Les Mills products are produced from high quality raw materials to ensure durability and safety. All parts are tested for durability in a high-use gym environment.

• Do not drop, throw, drag or knock the SMARTSTEP. Dragging or pushing the SMARTSTEP on the floor may result in damage to the ‘Click-to-Rise’ mechanism and feet.

• To prevent damage to the top surface of the SMARTSTEP, we recommend checking the bottom of your footwear to ensure there are no stones or sharp objects embedded in the sole.

• Do not store or drop weights on top of the SMARTSTEP. • When using or handling your SMARTSTEP, do not bring it into contact with sharp or abrasive objects/ materials.

• We recommend working out on a smooth, hard, and level surface for stability and safety. We do not recommend placing a mat under the SMARTSTEP as the mat could slip or slide when jumping on or off the step.

• Avoid using the SMARTSTEP outside or on an abrasive surface (such as rough concrete), as this could damage the rubber feet on the or scratch the product.

• Before each use, inspect the SMARTSTEP for damage, loose screws, or instability. Discontinue use immediately if any issues are found.

• Clean the SMARTSTEP by gently washing with water and a few drops of mild dish soap (if necessary) using a soft cloth or sponge, then dry with a clean, dry cloth.

STORAGE 

Store your equipment indoors, keeping it away from moisture or direct heat. Do not store in extreme temperatures (<-5˚C/41˚F; >50˚C/122˚F). It is recommended the SMARTSTEP is stored in a horizontal orientation by either:

• Placing the SMARTSTEP on a flat clean surface. The low profile enables the SMARTSTEP to slide under furniture to keep your space clear.

• Multiple SMARTSTEPs can be stacked on top of one another on a solid, level surface. Ensure all risers are in their stored position and the SMARTSTEP is sitting flat. Failure to do so can create an unbalanced stack and could result in the steps falling. The maximum recommended stack height is 10x SMARTSTEP, or 1.5 M / 5 ft.

• Using an official Les Mills SMARTSTEP storage solution.

WARRANTY INFORMATION 

At Les Mills Merchandise Limited (Les Mills) we stand behind our materials and manufacturing and offer customers who purchase the equipment for commercial or in-club use a three year warranty (from date of purchase) for manufacturing faults caused by materials or labor that occur during the warranty period. Proper care and maintenance of all Les Mills equipment is required (like any other product) to ensure proper functionality and longevity. Les Mills is not responsible for any damage or injury due to misuse or the failure to properly assemble any Les Mills equipment.
